Exhibit on Willa Cather’s 1918 Novel My Antonia
The USU Museum of Anthropology will display materials about Willa Cather’s 1918 novel My Antonia, in a student-created exhibit entitled “Resting on Opposite Edges of the World: A Look at Pioneers and the Storytelling of My Antonia”. This exhibit ties in with the Loga Library’s community reading of My Antonia during the month of October. This exhibit is part of USU/Logan’s Armistice Day Week, commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the end of hostilities in WWI. Armistice Day Week will culminate in a special concert, “War and the Human Heart,” at USU’s Daines Concert Hall at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3. For further information on the event, 435-797-7545; on the concert, 435-797-8022. A full list of events can be found at www.americanfestivalchorus.org/ArmisticeDayWeek
