Commemorates 100th Anniversary of WWI ~1918-2018~ 

“A Special Military Exhibit of World War I & II”

Don’t miss this opportunity to visit the Franklin Relic Hall Museum and see a Special Military Exhibit on “World War I & II.” This special Military Exhibit will be featured thru August 11, 2018. America entered World War I in April of 1917, a move that would cost the lives of nearly 117,000 Doughboys. On display is a collection of rare photos taken in France and aboard the transport ships taking American troops to World War I along with other artifacts from “The Great War.”

Also on exhibit is “Memories of World War II,” once again America was drawn into a World War, see a collection of “Japanese’s Imperial Army Artifacts,” as well as photos of soldiers that fought both in the Pacific and European Theaters. Learn how World War II would change lives on the home front bringing women into the work force in mass numbers making the American economy an arsenal of democracy and creating a new world at home and abroad. Help us in honoring our Veterans in remembering the sacrifice and service they have given for us.
